First self titled EP from The Get Down Automatic.

Maybe it's in the name, but Matt Manders and Matt Sutherland know how to play together. Manders' solid beats get toes tapping and heads moving, and play effortlessly off Sutherland, whose guitar lines are raw, loose and catchy. The vocal lines draw on pop influences and have tinge of blues and soul under the hooks. No autotune here – just live vocals straight up and on the rocks.

These two guys with the same name have been honing their skills together in various projects around Southern California since 2002, but have finally hit the nail on the head with The Get Down Automatic. They've cut down the excess and decided to go with straight, unapologetic Rock and Roll, with all the goodies like dirty guitars and solid beats.

So, I'll keep it simple (the Matts like it like that) and stop there. The rest you'll have to get by listening for yourself.
